Markle mania coming to Australia
The most anticipated royal tour in recent history is due to take place in October next year when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle arrive on Australian shores.
The royal couple, whose wedding next May at Windsor Castle, west of London, will be a global television event, are due in Sydney for the Invictus Games from October 20 to 27.

According to the Herald Sun, the couple will be invited to attend a polo tournament in Melbourne while on tour to Australia.
Ms Markle joined Prince Harry in Toronto three months ago for the 2017 Invictus Games before the couple announced their royal engagement.

Crowds responded enthusiastically to Meghan and Harry on their first official outing as an engaged couple, in Nottingham, England on World AIDS day last week.
As Prince Harry’s fiancee and future resident at Kensington Palace, Ms Markle is said to be now undergoing “princess training”.

Prince Harry is understood to be giving her a crash course on royal etiquette to help her understand the rules of palace life.
Meghan will be expected to curtsy to all senior members of the royal family.

Under the revised Order of Precedence, Meghan’s new bedside reading, she must always curtsy to the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, and Camilla and the Prince of Wales, as well as Princess Anne.
She will also have to curtsy to her new brother and sister-in-law, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, but not to the Queen’s other grandchildren.

Ms Markle will also learn the formality of life when she and Harry travel to stay with his granny, the Queen, at the royal residences of Sandringham, in Norfolk and Balmoral.
Footmen, courtiers and ladies in waiting will be among the household staff overseeing a stressful daily itinerary that includes shooting, tea and a formal dinner.

The couple has opted for the lower-key venue of St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, instead of Westminster Abbey where Prince William and Kate, and indeed Prince Charles and Diana wed.
The chapel is set in the grounds of the castle, which means reduced public access from the outside.

Prior to the wedding, Ms Markle will be christened and confirmed into the Church of England, of which her future grandmother-in-law, the Queen is the head.
The royal family will pay for Meghan and Harry’s church service, after which they are expected to be known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
