NZ 'first cat' Paddles killed by car
Jacinda Ardern's cat Paddles, or the "first cat of New Zealand" as it became known, has died after being hit by a car.
The news was confirmed by a spokeswoman for the prime minister on Wednesday.

The cat inspired a Twitter account in its name, @FirstCatofNZ, which attracted more than 11,000 followers.
"Very sad PR guy here. Thank you so much for loving Paddles, the whole world will mourn her. Not bad for a lil SPCA puss," the account tweeted on Wednesday.
